Middle Branch

The Middle Branch neighborhoods, composed of Cherry Hill and Lakeland, are graced with picturesque views of Downtown Baltimore and the Baltimore Harbor. For much of Baltimore’s history, Middle Branch was isolated from the rest of the city. In the mid-1800’s, the neighborhoods attracted a variety of homeowners and amusement parks due to the area’s suburban nature. Lakeland saw a dramatic increase in the construction of homes in the early 1900’s, while Cherry Hill experienced this phenomenon after the return of the World War II veterans. The area now offers multiple housing types for potential homeowners, including rowhomes, single-family detached homes, and apartments.
